Wisteria



Der Wisteria-Pulli ist fertig! Für mich hat es schiere Ewigkeiten gedauert, aber ein Blick auf die Ravelry-Projektseite besagt, dass ich nur vom 12.9. bis 4.10. gebraucht habe. Das Zopfmuster war anfangs etwas diffizil, aber irgendwann ging es dann. Die langen Strecken glatt rechts waren auch mal ganz entspannend zu stricken.
Der Pulli wird in einem Stück von oben nach unten gestrickt und man braucht wegen des Zopfmusters reichlich Wolle. Ich habe 16 Knäuel Lana Grossa Bingo verstrickt und es ist fast nichts übrig geblieben. Ein paar Meter vielleicht.

The Wisteria sweater is finished! The knitting felt like ages for me but have a look at my ravelry project page: Started on 9/12 and completed on 10/4! Fast! The cable pattern was quite a little bit tricky in the start but not for long. The remain was a little boring but relaxing.
This sweater is a top down raglan and you need plenty yarn. I used up 16 skeins of Lana Grossa Bingo and there wasn't left much. Some few yards perhaps.



Dann habe ich mich endlich für ein Garn entscheiden können, mit dem ich den Mystic Earth KAL stricken will: 100% Alpaca von Colourmart.com. Es ist sehr, sehr fein (ca. 2400m pro 150g), deswegen habe ich es nun doppelt genommen. Da ich erst am 6.10. mit dem Tuch angefangen habe, bin ich ziemlich hintendran. Mich hat die untere Bordüre (bottom border) ziemlich geschafft, das Muster wird nicht nur in der Hin- sondern auch in der Rückreihe gestrickt, was ich doch recht anstrengend fand. Aber jetzt geht es und ich bin bei Reihe 25 angekommen. Uff!

Finally I decided wich yarn I will use for the Mystic Earth KAL: 100% alpaca from colourmart.com. It's very very fine (about 2600 yards per 150g) therefore I decided to take it twice. I started on 10/6 so I have to speed up a little bit. The bottom border was a pain for me! I am not used to knit the pattern in every row. But now I arrived at row 25 and I'm doing well.



Ha, ich habe letzte Woche im Supermarkt diese netten Puzzle-Matten gefunden, 10 Stück für 5 EUR, das ist doch nicht verkehrt, oder? Und mit 3 Päckchen kommt man ganz gut aus.
Hey, last week I found these puzzle mat for kids in the supermarket, 10 pieces for 5 EUR - not so bad! And 3 packs will do it.

Dies hier wird der North Roe Shawl, aus selbst gesponnener Wolle. Wie immer ist der Anfang sehr flott gestrickt und seit gestern Abend geht es nur noch langsam voran. Es sind nun schon über 240 Maschen auf der Nadel und so langsam sollte ich eine längere Nadel verwenden. Gut, dass man die Knitpicks hat. ;-)

This will be the North Roe Shawl from handspun yarn. As always the beginning is done very fast. But since yesterday evening I'm slowing down as there are more than 240 stitches on the needles. I should change to longer needles - thank god for the knitpicks! ;-)



Ach ja, der 8. Hint des SotSiii ist auch schon seit Sonntag fertig, aber ich hab kein vernünftiges Bild auf die Reihe gekriegt.
I finished hint 8 of the SotSiii on sunday but I have no good picture of it.
