Sommerjacke


Die sommerliche Strickjacke ist fertig.
I finished the summer cardigan.

Diese Jacke habe ich nach dem Muster der Top-Down Raglan Cardigan gestrickt. Die Anleitung ist prima und sehr gut erklärt, bis vor kurzem konnte ich mir nicht vorstellen, wie man von oben nach unten eine Jacke strickt. Zum Glück lässt die Anleitung viel Platz zum Improvisieren, deswegen habe ich das Bündchen sehr lang gestrickt und auch an den Ärmeln ein laaaaanges Bündchen im Zopfmuster gestrickt. Jetzt habe ich allerdings viel weniger Wolle verstrickt als ich gekauft habe, eigentlich könnte ich noch so eine Jacke stricken - oder hat jemand Interesse an der Wolle?

This cardigan was knit from the Top-Down Raglan Cardigan. The pattern is easy and very good, until recently I couldn't figure out how to knit a sweater top down. The pattern leaves a good possibility for improvisation therefore I knit the wristband and the cuffs with a loooong cable rib pattern. I didn't used up all the yarn I had bought so I could just knit the cardigan again - or is there anybody to take stock in it?



Soeben habe ich mir den 3. Hint des SotSiii ausgedruckt, es sind Schneeflocken zu erkennen! Und mein zweiter Hint ist seit Montag schon fertig.
Just now I printed the 3. hint of the SotSiii - there are snowflakes! And my second hint is done since monday.



Noch mehr feine Tuchwolle habe ich auch bekommen:

Und von dieser weichen Wolle war ich so angetan, dass ich mal einen ersten Spinnversuch startete. Wie kriegt man so eine feine dünne und vor allem weiche Wolle wie die "Uru-Wolle" hin? Wenig Drehung, viel Einzug - ich habe den langsamen Medium-Wirtel genommen und ein bisschen geübt. Am Ende hatte ich 9 g Wolle und 51m Lauflänge. Das kommt schon ganz gut hin, aber ich muss in dieser Richtung weiter üben.
I liked this wonderfull soft yarn so much that I tried to spin this way. How to spin this very fine thin and soft yarn like the "Uru-Yarn"? I think of low twist and much drawing in - I took the medium whorl and practiced a little bit. Finally I spun 9 g roving to 51m. That is quite good and something I wanted, but I have to exercise a lot more!



Und hier ist noch Wolle für ein geheimes Projekt...
