Hurra, ich habe eine Medaille bekommen!!! Für meine handgesponnene Strickjacke beim Event WIP Wrestling:

Ich habe neue Wolle zum Spinnen bekommen, Merino-Seiden-Mischung von Wollinchen. Ausserdem noch ein bisschen Knitpicks-Zubehör und Nadeln und sogar die Zopfnadeln. ;-)
I got new fibers for spinning, merino-silk-mix from Wollinchen. Furthermore I received some accessories from Knitpicks, needles and cable needles. ;-)



Und da sich das Pearled Romance Projekt dem Ende zuneigt (ich habe gestern Clue 9 geschafft!!!), wird es Zeit, die Wolle für den Secret of the Stole fertig zu bekommen. Hier sind die ersten 76g mit einer Lauflänge von ca. 680m. Das Merino-Seiden-Gemisch von Wollknoll habe ich mit der Übersetzung von 14:1 gesponnen, in der Hoffnung, dass ein etwas weicheres Garn heraus kommt. Es ist auch spürbar weicher, aber ob das jetzt an der extrafeinen Wolle und der Seide oder an meinen Spinnkünsten liegt, kann ich (noch) nicht sagen. Ich will irgendwann so etwas kuscheliges wie die Uru-Wolle spinnen können, aber dazu braucht man wohl mehr Erfahrung.
And as the Pearled Romance project will soon come to an end (I finished clue 9 yesterday!!), it is time to finish the yarn for the SotS. Here are the first 76g with a range of about 680m. I spun the merino-silk-mix from Wollknoll with ration 14:1 in the hope that this will be a very soft yarn. Well, it is noticable softer but I don't know if this comes from the extra fine merino and the silk or my spinning got much better. One day I will be able to spin something soft like the famous uru-yarn, but I think I need much more experience.



Leider kann ich im Moment kaum spinnen, da Streifchen sich für längere Zeit einquartiert hat und seinen Sessel - also meinen Spinnsessel - zurück erobert hat. Auf dem Rad ist gerade Bambus, black diamond bamboo, das sich nach kurzer Einarbeitungszeit prima verspinnen lässt.
Unfortunately I am unable to spin as Streifchen lives again with us and he conquered back his armchair - my spinning armchair!!! On the wheel you can see black diamond bamboo, after a short period of adjustment I managed to spin it at least.



Schliesslich möchte ich noch die Fortschritte des Projekts Eiskristall vorzeigen. Dieses Projekt habe ich ebenfalls für die Ravelympics, Event Laceweight Longjump, angemeldet.
At least I will show the progress in the Eiskristall-project. This is part of the Ravelympics, event laceweight longjump.
